1. Sourcing Recycled Materials

• Keeleco toys are made from 100% recycled polyester, which comes from discarded plastic water bottles.
• The bottles are collected, sorted, and cleaned before being processed into raw materials.

2. Conversion into Recycled Polyester

• The cleaned plastic bottles are shredded into small plastic flakes.
• These flakes are then melted down and spun into polyester fibers, which are used to create the plush fabric and stuffing.
• The process consumes 59% less energy than producing traditional polyester.

3. Manufacturing the Plush Toys

• The soft outer fabric and the stuffing inside each toy is made from this recycled polyester.
• Instead of traditional plastic pellets, Keeleco toys are weighted using recycled glass beads.
• The eyes of the toys are embroidered, eliminating the need for plastic safety eyes, making them safer for children and reducing plastic waste.

4. Energy-Efficient Production

• The manufacturing process is optimised to reduce carbon emissions and overall environmental impact.
• Factories follow sustainable practices to minimise waste and energy use.

5. Packaging and Distribution
