The bum bag is designed with a pouch for space to fit your keys, phone and a few essentials, fastening around the top edge with a zip. The top flap opens so that you can see easily inside to find what you’re looking for.

This stylish bag is decorated with the Moomin Hillside design a stunning illustration of the characters of ‘Moominvalley’. This classic image by Tove Jansson shows Moomintroll and the Snorkmaiden stand at the foot of a hill with their friends Snuffkin, Little My and Sniff. Around them are lush flowers and foliage which are portrayed in the simple signature style of Tove Jansson’s illustrations, with the trees of a woodland behind them. The design is complemented by the contrasting deep green on the back of the fanny pack and pale green on the top.

The Moomin bum bag is a fabulous fashion accessory for all ages, and makes a wonderful gift for Christmas, a birthday or any special occasion!

Moomin Range

The Moomin books by internationally acclaimed Finnish author, Tove Jansson have been loved by generations of children since they first appeared in the 1940’s. Written and illustrated with hand drawn images by Tove, the characters are based on people she knew in her own life. These endearing creatures were made into comic strips and TV cartoons as well as the original series of nine books, and even today there is a Moomin theme park in Finland. Jansson died in 2001, her books by then translated into 45 languages; in 2017 she was honoured in two London exhibitions and an outdoor Moomin adventure event in Kew Gardens. It is her delightful illustrations that are particularly remembered, simple line drawings that portray the portly trolls and their friends, in humorous situations and magical landscapes, and these images look wonderful when reproduced on stationery accessories and household items. No doubt the Moomin legacy will continue for generations of children (and adults) to come!

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.
