This umbrella is beautifully decorated with the iconic pimpernel pattern, designed by William Morris in 1876 for use in his own home. The colour way features cream florals with lush greenery and is set against a deep purple background. The umbrella has a round handle for you to grip, a cord for hanging it up it, along with a Velcro tab to fasten it shut.

This folding umbrella comes with a matching floral pouch to keep it in and is a handy size for tucking in your bag for when the need strikes. The ideal accessory for a day out, come rain or shine, this umbrella would make a lovely gift for anyone - perfect for a birthday, as a way to say thank you or a treat for yourself.

About the William Morris range

William Morris, artist, philosopher, poet and political theorist, was one of the most outstanding influential designers of the Arts and Crafts movement. Through his company, Morris and Co he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of the late 19th century. He found his inspiration in nature and Medieval art, but also employed the very characteristic Victorian taste for heavily detailed patterns and deep, sometimes earthy colours. Because of their artistry and timeless and classic, natural feel, Morris's designs have been consistently popular since his death in 1896.

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.
