The Kids in Bed theme features a lady lying on a comfy red sofa, holding a glass of wine, accompanied by the bottle and some snacks. The tongue-in-cheek phrase, in a typewritten font, reads; ‘She believed she could but once the kids were in bed she couldn’t be arsed. So she didn’t’. The comical illustration continues on the reverse, this time the lady has fallen asleep on the sofa, allowing you and your friends to see the design from both sides.

The following year she won a Henry Award for Best Humorous Range! The range features illustrated quirky characters accompanied by humorous, tongue-in-cheek phrases. Starting on greeting cards, these designs have transferred to sleek bone china mugs.

Return & Refund Policy

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.
