Perfect for any new or expectant parent, this beautiful set of two fine bone china mugs from Royal Worcester are a part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection.

The mugs features a gorgeous painted images of foxes, depicted in great detail and finished with the Wrendale trademark paint speckles are scattered around the image

The large mug holds 400ml ideal for a big tea or coffee and features the ‘Bedtime Kiss’; a parent fox with its cubs as they get ready for rest and on the reverse is an illustration of a pair of foxes cuddled up side by side, all depicted with fluffy auburn fur. The smaller mug holds 310ml of liquid, perfect for a little milk or hot chocolate. This mug is decorated with the ‘Born to be Wild’ design; a single fox cub watching a butterfly, and on the reverse showcases a pair of playful, red foxes that are snuggled up together looking content and joyful with massive grins on their faces. The inside rim of each mug features a third adorable design, adding extra detail to each piece.

This pair of fine china mugs are both dishwasher and microwave safe and they come lovingly packaged in a Wrendale themed gift box. This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
