This beautiful three-piece gift set from Wrendale is part of the Portmeirion Wrendale collection. It includes two porcelain mugs perfectly sized for a cup of tea or coffee and a beautiful melamine tray ideal for holding an array of biscuits whilst you have your drink.

The mugs are crisp white in colour, and they each have a different illustration. One depicts a guinea pig whose fuzzy fur is unkempt, and on his cheeky face is a big grin and the other an adorable bunny rabbit with long floppy ears. The rabbit is sat on its hind legs and has wonderful brown and cream colourings. The intricate detail depicted in these images, using soft browns, fawns and whites and with each individual brush stroke visible, captures how fluffy the animals are is and the detail in each design. Around the animals are speckles of black paint, in a way that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand.

The two mugs stand on a beautiful tray, which easily fits both mugs on it. The front of the tray, which curves up at the edges to create an easy handle with which to carry it, features a wonderful illustration of a cheeky Hamster who tucking into a Jammy Dodger biscuit which he holds in his paws.

Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
