Each one features a beautifully painted image of a nocturnal countryside animal inside the fine bone china bowl. These includes;

A sweet little fox cub with bright eyes and pricked ears, inquisitively following a little blue butterfly.
A delightful red squirrel, with a bushy tail and cute, scruffy fur.
An adorable fluffy hare large ears looking inquisitively at a bumblebee that’s buzzing around him.
An inquisitive badger with bright eyes and beautiful, monochrome, scruffy fur.

Decorating the exterior rim of each bowl and also surrounding the images is Wrendale’s trademark paint speckling which adds extra detail and ties the design together.

Wrendale Designs

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
