Whether you’re baking bread or cooking up a storm, this wonderful set of measuring cups from Wrendale Designs are a great addition to any kitchen.

Each measuring cup is made from fine bone china and has a little handle, which is decorated with a single feather, for ease of use. This wonderful set includes four different sized measuring cups, and each cup has three measurements written on it, so you’re ready for any recipe. This includes;

• 1 Cup / 8 fl. Oz / 227ml – This large measuring cup is decorated with adorable wrens. On the exterior the bird is singing loud for all to hear, perched on a branch with a trio of pretty pink cherry blossom flowers next to it. Inside is pair of wrens sat in their nest. The nest is decorated with baby blue flowers, and it has been made on the branch of a cherry blossom tree.
• ½ Cup / 4 fl. Oz / 113ml - Featuring gorgeously coloured blue tits, the exterior of this measuring spoon depicts a bird perched on branch adorned with pink flowers and green moss. The same bird can be seen on the inside.
• ⅓ Cup / 2.6 fl. Oz / 73ml – Adorable robins can be seen on this measuring cup. There are jolly robins on the outside of the measuring cup, each balanced on its delicate feet on a branch, taking in his surroundings. On the inside of the cup is another jolly bird, looking curiously up at you.
• ¼ Cup / 2 fl. Oz / 56ml – The final measuring cup is the smallest in size and is decorated with illustrations of great tits. The birds are perched amongst gorgeous yellow coneflowers, a wonderful pop of colour to the design.

The designs have been beautifully designed by artist Hannah Dale and are all set upon the crisp white of the ceramics. Surrounding each image are speckles of black paint, in a way that is very synonymous with the Wrendale brand.

Wrendale Designs

The wonderful Wrendale Designs collection is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by much-loved Lincolnshire artist Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and her signature speckles of black paint.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life in the English countryside, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business and the collection has grown over the years, ranging from stationery to homeware, accessories to storage tins, clothing to ceramicware from British brand Portmeirion, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
