The cover of the planner is cream with a pale green border and features a wonderful illustration on the front that depicts a pair of fluffy highland cows stood behind a stone fence, their fur scruffy and messy. With their beady eyes and cream horns, the cows are covered in gorgeous fur with combinations of orange and brown colouring. In front of the wall there are beautiful pink foxgloves, painted in the beautiful watercolour style of artist Hannah Dale. Depicted with intricate detail, surrounding the illustration are speckles of gold foiling, in a way that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand. Above the illustration, also in gold foiling, is the text ‘hello 2025’.

The diary runs from January 2025 to December 2025 and the pages inside are laid out with a week to a view and lines that are in a hand drawn style. The front of the planner has pages for you to fill in your all-important personal information, an overview of 2025 and 2026, weekly routines and monthly overview pages. At the start of each week is a double page with the following headings ‘meal planner’, ‘shopping list’, ‘to do list’ and ‘weekly budget’. At the back there is a forward planner for 2026 as well as two notes pages.

Wrendale Designs

The wonderful Wrendale Designs collection is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by much-loved Lincolnshire artist Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and her signature speckles of black paint.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life in the English countryside, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business and the collection has grown over the years, ranging from stationery to homeware, accessories to storage tins, clothing to ceramicware from British brand Portmeirion, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
