Each set includes eight cards and eight kraft envelopes. The cards feature a wonderful illustration of a beautifully festive country kitchen scene. This shows a group of dogs sat in front of an Aga including a spaniel, a dachshund and a golden doodle. There are also a pair of cats in the scene, one asleep in its bed and the other is climbing along the top of the shelf above the cooker. The scene is decorated with holly and a Christmas tree as Christmas dinner is cooking. This is set against a cream background and is surrounded by the gold speckles that are recognisable as a part of the Wrendale brand. Inside each card is the text ‘with best wishes for Christmas and the new year’.

The design is illustrated in the watercolour style that is the trademark of Wrendale designer Hannah Dale. This is all printed on sustainably sourced textured board. The text above the illustration reads ‘A Merry Christmas’. These stationery pieces are neatly packaged inside a red and white Wrendale Designs folder which has a velcro closure to keep your letters safe and organised.
