Inspired by ‘Little Wren’, this illustrated character by Hannah Dale is called Rosemary Wren and she has been specially made to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of Wrendale Designs.

Curl up with this cuddly plush character wren. Rosemary has a soft white tummy and soft wings. The patches around her eyes are a white colour with her beady eyes in the middle. She has a little beak buried among his feathers and a plump round body. She is complete with the Wrendale logo stitched in metallic bronze on one of her feet and the phrase ’10 Years’ on the other.

Rosemary is made from high quality, soft and tactile fabrics to capture the likeness of a bird and each plush animal comes with a little tag with information about the character;

Rosemary was the first egg in her nest to hatch and has been in a great hurry ever since. She loves to make lists and can often be spotted darting around the woodland getting her jobs done. Insatiably curious and highly intelligent, Rosemary loves a pub quiz, and her specialist subject is ‘the natural history of the tadpole’. Rosemary is an avid reader, and her ambition is to write a best-selling detective novel.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
