This bowl features a beautifully painted image of a hedgehog, painted in soft watercolour tones. The hedgehog is just awakening from hibernation with all four paws still folded together, but her beady black eyes are already wide and alert. Decorating the outside rim of the bowl and also surrounding the image is Wrendale’s trademark paint speckling which adds extra detail and ties the design together.

Perfect for nibbles, breakfast or side dishes, this wonderful 15.2cm bowl is microwave and dishwasher friendly. It would make a brilliant gift for Christmas, birthday or as a housewarming gift, especially when combined with other pieces from the range. Wrendale Designs

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
