Wrendale Movie Night Dogs Fine Bone China Mug

Enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea or toasty hot chocolate in this beautiful fine china mug from Royal Worcester, a part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection.

The front of the mug a variety of dogs of different breeds including a Yorkshire terrier, a border collie, a dachshund and more. The dogs have all settled themselves on a baby pink sofa and all have beautiful colourings with shades of white, brown and black. On the back is another group of dog, sat watching the tv, apart the dachshund which is napping. The illustrations have a wonderful contrast against the crisp white background of the ceramics. The design is painted in wonderful natural tones in Hannah Dales signature watercolour style and the image is surrounded by Wrendale’s trademark speckling design which adds an extra touch of detail and contrast. On the inside rim of the mug is a single sleeping pup.

With a capacity of 310ml, the fine bone china mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe. It makes the perfect present for a dog-loving friend or loved one.

Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
