Black Toast Small Butter Dish

Made from creamy ceramic ware, this fine china butter dish from Emma Bridgewater is decorated with hand-drawn lettering by Matthew Rice. Perfectly sized to fit a standard half pound pack of butter, the dish has a lid with a knob in the centre to keep the butter fresh!

The rectangular butter dish is decorated with the following words:

“HALF A POUND of BEST BUTTER,” and “DONT LET THE CAT GET THE BUTTER”

This lovely piece will compliment any kitchen, and become part of your daily life. It is a lovely piece to accompany the Black Toast and Oranges designs, and will look wonderful as part of any collection of Emma Bridgewater pieces. It makes a lovely gift for a new home, a birthday, Mother’s Day or any occasion.

Toast and Marmalade Range

The Toast and Marmalade designs are a combination of the Black Toast and Marmalade ranges by Emma Bridgewater. Marmalade is a colourful pattern of whole and halved Seville oranges in vibrant yellow and orange on a cream background and looks wonderful when mixed with the austere cream and black typographical Black Toast pieces. In keeping with the Emma Bridgewater concept of mismatching patterns and colour to great effect, the Toast and Marmalade range combines the elegant black lettering of the Black Toast range with the zingy citrus imagery of the Marmalade range.

Not suitable for Microwave use. Not Oven safe.

Dishwasher safe, however it is recommended to wash in lower temperature with liquid detergent to maintain appearance.

Emma Bridgewater’s English earthenware is hand-made in her factory in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in England. The spongeware patterns are decorated entirely by hand.

Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy or oversized orders, these shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. In which case we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order.

Return & Refund Policy

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.
