Wrendale ‘Flight of the Bumblebee’ Bee Card

An adorable, fluffy bumblebee is the focus of this lovable greetings card from The Country Set range by Wrendale Designs.

On the front of this card is a bumblebee is depicted mid-flight with his wings spread elegantly, soaring through a field of purple flowers. Painted in watercolour, the body of the bee pleasingly contrasts against the flowers below which feature drawn detail and fine black outlines. The intricate detail depicted in this image, using yellows and blacks, captures how fluffy the bumblebee is and the detail in each flower. Around the animal are speckles of black paint, in a way that it very synonymous with the Wrendale brand.

This card is left blank inside for you to personalise with your own message and comes with a brown envelope for sending. The card is printed on beautiful textured board sourced from the Lake District which has been chosen for its low environmental impact and superb quality. Designed in Wrendale’s trade mark expressive style, this card would be perfect for a multitude of occasions, whether it be for birthdays, Mother’s day or as a thank you.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.

Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy or oversized orders, these shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. In which case we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order.

Return & Refund Policy

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.

- The reason for the return
- If the item is faulty please include exactly where the fault is on the item

All returns are processed within five working days of them being received and we will send you an email when we have processed your return and inform you of any refunds that have been processed.
