This sturdy A4 hardback notebook is ideal for keeping on your desk and perfect for jotting down useful notes and lists. It makes a lovely gift for anyone who leads a busy life, likes to keep a journal, or just wants to make notes.

This notebook is painted in soft watercolour tones, in the signature style of Wrendale Designer, Hannah Dale. The front cover of this notebook has a beautiful illustration of an adorable black and white springer spaniel, looking enormously proud of himself, holding a bunch of red tulips in his mouth on a pink background. Painted in soft watercolour brushstrokes, the image surrounded by trademark black speckles, framed inside a dusky blue border. Above this illustration is the word ‘Notebook’ in an italic, cursive white font. The back cover is decorated with the same doggy motif.

Inside the notebook you’ll find lined pages featuring an illustration of a springer spaniel in the bottom corner, and a space to put the date at the top. This hardback notebook is finished with an elasticated closure to keep the book secure when not in use and the thick card covers protect it from damage.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
