• The first pair of socks are decorated with a beautiful illustration of an adorable little rabbit. With wonderful brown colourings, the bunny has managed to end up sat inside a Christmas pudding, with his legs, paws and head sticking out. This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
